Our regulator, The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), has recently issued guidance to all UK insurance providers about temporary measures to help insurance customers who may be suffering financial difficulties as a result of coronavirus.

We would like to confirm the following –

  • Our office remains open for business as usual and any posted documentation is still being received and posted daily. Our current preferred method of payment is via BACS or bank transfer, however all cheques posted and received are still being manually banked daily and all paper correspondence received is being distributed to the relevant staff on a daily basis. Due to coronavirus, the majority of our staff are working remotely, but are still available to speak to any customer or supplier as usual and during normal business hours, weekdays 9am-5pm.
  • Should any client or customer have any queries or concerns about making payments, temporary amendments, cancellation, reductions or changes to their insurance cover or want help and advice in making a claim during this period, please contact their account manager in the first instance, or email info@bjpinsure.com.
